Das Ende des armenischen Arzach
Vor wenigen Tagen wurde das bislang autonome Gebiet Bergkarabach innerhalb weniger Stunden von Aserbaidschan zurückerobert. Seither sind die meisten der BewohnerInnen ins benachbarte Armenien geflohen. Politikwissenschaftler Thomas Schmidinger stellt in seinem Beitrag die historischen Hintergründe des Konflikts dar und zeigt auf, warum die Gefahr einer Eskalation noch lange nicht gebannt ist.
